This isn't a very nice planet - is it?

Bombs get dropped on childrens heads, teenagers get stabbed or shot in their own neighbourhoods, women and children are abused in their own homes and every minute, of every day, someone dies from the preventable effects of, war, poverty, famine or disease.

It's no wonder we've never seen any aliens. There's probably some kind of inter gallactic warning for travellers, telling them to stay away from Earth. It's not the kind of place where you would want to take a holiday if you could go anywhere else in the Galaxy is it?

Lets face it, the first bomb that was dropped on a childs head in Bahgdad should have had the entire planet up in arms. Not to join in but to fight against the insanity that tells people it is ok or neccessary to do this.

The Other Angus Council protests! And we are not afraid to say that it is wrong to drop bombs, abuse children or to look the other way when we pass abject poverty on our own streets.

The OAC has worked for me in the past when I needed to raise public awareness on private issues but now I want to put this to work to serve a wider public. A public who are beginning to believe that now is the time when they will stand up and demand to be heard.

Is revolution too strong a word?
